Geronimo Work Weeked May 13th-15th

Camp Geronimo is in need of service to help get ready for the summer camp season. The lodge has put together a completely free weekend for our members to come give service and get fed. The service weekend will be at Camp Geronimo May 13-15th.

Registration is free although there is an option to donate $5, $10, or $20 during registration to help offset the costs for this event. Registration closes Sunday May 8th at 11:59 so please register ASAP. Even if you can only join us for part of the weekend please still register and let us know.

The weekend will start at 6pm Friday and conclude at 11am Sunday. A small cracker barrel will be provided Friday night along with Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast.

There are a lot of projects at camp including everything from cleaning facilities to building a Gaga ball pit. If anyone has carpentry skills, we can definitely use your help with building the pit as well as repairing a shelter in one of the sites.

I look forward to seeing you there to help give cheerful service. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to reach out to me.

Yours in Brotherhood,

Joshua O. Balch | Lodge Chief

New Items in the Trading Post

New year means new patches in the trading post. We have a couple of NOAC (National OA Conference) sets for fundraisers, new chapter flaps, and this special fundraising patch.

Continuing with our “Patches with a Purpose” program we turn this year to Men’s Health. Join us in raising money for Prostate On-site Project, a local Phoenix area company with the mission of helping men with the early detection of Prostate Cancer and to make screenings available to all men in Arizona. All proceeds will be donated to this amazing cause.
